The secret ingredient to smoother payments
As customer expectations continue to rise, businesses must do more than keep up — they need to stay ahead. For Just Eat Takeaway.com one of the world’s leading food and convenience delivery platforms, this meant tackling a crucial aspect of their service: the payment experience. With operations spanning 17 countries, Just Eat Takeaway.com set out to create a unified checkout experience that meets local preferences without slowing global growth.
To take the payment experience even further for its consumers, Just Eat Takeaway.com partnered with Adyen and Visa to roll out Click to Pay. Built on Visa Network Tokens and integrated through Adyen’s component solution, Click to Pay is an innovative card standard for online payments that advances e-commerce by removing the need for consumers to manually enter their card details, enhancing both security and the consumer shopping experience.
As a result, Just Eat Takeaway.com’s checkout is now four times faster, their approval rate has increased by 8%, and payment fraud has dropped by 50%1 compared to manual card entry.
