LISTEN: Visa and Reward’s Innovative Approach to Card-Linked Loyalty

About Reward

Founded in 2001, Reward is a global customer engagement platform for the world’s leading banks. Their mission is to make everyday spending more rewarding. Operating in 20 countries with over 300 merchants, Reward provides end-to-end customer engagement programs for Visa and leading banks in Europe, CEMEA and Asia Pacific. The company’s cloud-hosted, API-based platform is provided on full or modular basis to both challenger and traditional financial institutions, driving increased NPS, customer loyalty and retention.

Digital loyalty programs play an important role for consumers and in the world of payments. From growing customer retention to boosting sales, loyalty programs can engage and motivate individuals. It’s forecast that the number of loyalty program memberships will exceed 32bn globally in 2026, a growth of 33%1, and the value of consumer credit cards globally will increase by 15% to $108bn by 20262. As these programs have worked to meet customers’ ever-growing demands, they’ve become more adept at offering targeted exclusivity, and loyalty has become known for the promise of immediate rewards.

In this podcast, Otto Williams, Head of Product, Partnerships and Solutions at Visa CEMEA, and Gavin Alexander Dein, Founder and CEO of Reward, a leader in bank loyalty, explore how loyalty programs play an important role in strengthening the relationship between banks and customers, leading to increased satisfaction and profitability.

Visa and Reward, building on their successful partnership in Europe, are joining forces to introduce Visa’s Card Linked Offers solution in the Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa region (CEMEA). This groundbreaking initiative is designed to revolutionize customer engagement and deliver data-driven, hyper-personalized offers to Visa cardholders. The solution enables Visa cardholders to earn merchant-funded rewards both domestically and internationally across 20 countries from 180 brands, offering numerous benefits to issuers, merchants, and cardholders.
